Triang through to Hornby – Metal Bodied Point Motor for both Super 4 and early System 6 points, very good tested condition !
The metal bodied point motors replaced the original plastic versions during the early Hornby period, possibly because of the plastic ones having a tendency to melt. They tend to have a much better action and are generally more solid but are not easy to come by.
5 are available, all checked and tested and working well – 2 have one side location lug missing making them only suitable for either a right or left hand point ie not universal as the other 6 are ( see picture )
Ideal for converting manual to electric operating points and can also be used with the later Hornby automatic signal set R400
